What is FundScrip?

FundScrip is a simple, feel-good way to make your spending go further. When you purchase gift cards at face value for your everyday needs — groceries, gas, dining out, or holiday presents — a percentage of your purchase is donated directly back to Global Gathering Place. No extra cost to you, just extra impact for our clients.

Participating Retailers Include:

  • Groceries: Superstore, Extra Foods, Sobeys, Safeway
  • Gas Stations: Esso, Mobil, Petro-Canada, Shell
  • Dining: Starbucks, Tim Hortons, Cactus Club, Canadian Brewhouse
  • Clothing & Retail: Winners, H&M, Mark’s, Sport Chek
  • Home & Hardware: Home Depot, RONA, Canadian Tire
  • Entertainment & More: Apple, Indigo, Landmark Cinemas, Sephora
  • And many more!

 

How Does It Work?

1. Buy gift cards through GGP at face value.
2. Use them for your own shopping or gift them to others.
3. GGP receives a donation from each card sold. Simple as that!

How to Participate:

You’ll find the order form below listing all available vendors and the rebate percentages GGP will earn for each card sold.

Important Dates & Payment Methods:

  • Order Deadline: December 3
  • Pick-Up: Gift cards will be available for collection at GGP the following week
  • Payment Options: Cash, cheque (to Global Gathering Place), or e-transfer to finance@globalgatheringplace.com

Synergy Credit Union donated $50,000 to GGP as part of their commitment to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for newcomers to Canada. In the years to come, GGP will disburse $5,000 in scholarships annually to help advance the careers of deserving refugees and immigrants.
