Our mission is to engage and support immigrants and refugees to integrate and thrive in Canadian society. We provide an array of heartfelt settlement services, personalized for each client. We also deliver English classes as well as a full calendar of programs for adults, youth, children and families.
To achieve our vision of a society where newcomers are fully engaged and valued, we also collaborate with diverse organizations in Saskatchewan and throughout Canada.

Black History Month 2026
GGP Staff members were excited and grateful to represent GGP at the 3rd Annual Afrocentric Symposium. Program Coordinator Heba Ahmed shared how hearing about the ways systemic barriers affect Black people and families deepened her awareness of culturally informed support, inspiring her to bring more awareness, care, and advocacy into her role at GGP.

GGP Client Joins Our Group of Volunteers to Assist Other Newcomers
Mahlet came to Canada in 2023 from Ethiopia in search of a better life and further opportunities for her and her children. She initially arrived in Saskatoon on a closed work permit, working as a child caregiver in private homes.

BrightStart! Volunteer Regularly Witnesses the Patience, Endurance, and Resilience of Clients
Uchechi began volunteering with Global Gathering Place this year through our BrightStart! program that supports newcomer women and their young children. The BrightStart! program offers a welcoming environment for newcomer mothers to build community, access resources, and receive support as they adjust to life in a new country.
