Holiday Giving

As the year comes to a close, we are called to reflect on all there is to be grateful for here at Global Gathering Place. The continued generosity of our community is always the top of the list. THANK YOU to all those who kept our community’s newcomers in mind this holiday season.

Every year, Emmanuel Anglican Church provides grocery store gift cards to bring the holiday spirit into the homes of our clients

This month, the University of Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy and Nutrition’s Kindness Calendar initiative collected four cars-worth of donations to make holiday hampers for our newcomer clients!

In the years to come, GGP will disburse $5,000 in scholarships annually to help advance the careers of deserving refugees and immigrants.

By volunteering, I hope to contribute to the well-being of others and help create positive experiences similar to those I have had,” Laura says.
