GGP Wins NSBA’s Employee Training and Development Award

We are very excited to share that Global Gathering Place received the North Saskatoon Business Association’s (NSBA) Employee Training and Development Award presented and sponsored by Saskatchewan Polytechnic.

This award acknowledges an employer who “pursues excellence through enhancing the skills, knowledge and professional growth of their employees. Home to a stable and/or growing workforce, this business fosters an environment for outstanding training and development initiatives that contribute to improved job performance, employee satisfaction, lifelong learning, career advancement, leadership development, succession opportunities and organizational success.”

Anytime someone speaks about the merits of Global Gathering Place, they mention the people. We are honoured to play a role in the professional and personal growth of over 100 employees who come from many different parts of the world and come to us with diverse skills and education often obtained outside of Canada. At the same time, we have also prepared thousands of refugees and immigrants for employment; equipping them with the necessary skills, support, and connections to succeed.

Thank you so much to our supporters and clients that have helped grow our incredible community at Global Gathering Place.

By volunteering, I hope to contribute to the well-being of others and help create positive experiences similar to those I have had,” Laura says.
