San’s Story: Employment success with GGP’s help

As a newcomer to Saskatoon everything here is new to me. and I have to start everything from scratch.

I came to know GGP from my friend’s introduction during my effort to seek assistance in terms of tax filing. Soon after my registration online I got a call from GGP to not only respond to my tax filing request, but also asked me if I am seeking any other support such as job hunting and other settlement plans.

I picked up the service for resume review and revision first. Soon right after my registration I got the emails and phone calls from Sana Khan who is working at GGP as a Program Facilitator very quickly and we had several very fruitful guiding sessions where I got valuable lessons about how to build an attractive, short, concise and focused resume and cover letter from theory and direct reviewing and revising my resumes.

As a result after sending the updated resumes I got several interview invitations from City of Saskatoon, SaskTel and also from another private software enterprise. I came back to GGP and Sana again asking for support for interview preparation. I was given a 1.5 hours interview dry-run with Sana tips, attention guides and I felt very confident joining the formal interview after that.

I am now an employee of the City of Saskatoon. I am writing this to say THANKS again and express my appreciation for the help and support that GGP has been giving me.
