We have an exciting opening for IT Support that is primarily accountable for maintaining GGP’s computer networks. Will monitor and maintain the company computer systems, installs, configures hardware and software, and solves technical problems. Responsibilities:

– Installs and configures computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
– Monitors and maintains computer systems and networks
– Schedules and maintains backups
– Responds in a timely manner to service issues and requests
– Provides technical support
– Sets up accounts for new users
– Tests new technology
– Tracks and manages IT inventory
– Repairs and replaces equipment as necessary
– Identifies and properly disposes of outdated equipment
– Other technical duties as assigned

Qualifications:

– Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by completion of a recognized post‑secondary computer technology program or equivalent. A current Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification is required
– 3 to 5 years of related work experience with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in technical support in a Windows environment.
– 3 to 5 years of experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP services.
– 3 to 5 Years of experience with Microsoft 365 services.
– Considerable experience with various types of computer equipment, file servers, peripherals, software installation in multi-platform environments.
– Experience with VMware virtualization technology, and VEEAM backup infrastructure.
– Experience with SonicWALL Firewall would be an asset.
– Knowledge with AWS Cloud would be an asset.
– Basic understanding of computer hardware troubleshooting
– Basic understanding of LAN / WAN / WLAN troubleshooting and network protocols
– Understanding of general security access, server to server replication and networking
– The ability to speak another language is an asset
