GGP in the News

Last weekend, Global News featured our new Pre-employment and Skills Development Support for Racialized Immigrant Women Project! This program is aimed at helping women in a discriminated demographic gain the skills and experience to reenter the workforce and obtain a job in the sales and service sector. Now that we have had one successful round of classes and work placements, we are trying to get the word out to reach more employers and participants.

Participants are compensated for the duration of the work placement, meaning employers can host a participant from our program for 26 hours a week at no cost to their business or organization. If you know a business, organization, or individual who would be interested in engaging with this program as a work placement host or participant, please connect them with Project Coordinator and Workforce Specialist Jenna Kachur at jenna.kachur@globalgatheringplace.com
